DPF, DEF & EGR Emissions Service in Phoenix
DPF, DEF, and EGR emissions service keeps your diesel out of limp mode and running clean. Truck & Equipment Specialists diagnoses, cleans, repairs, and replaces these systems with OEM or OEM-improved parts, in shop or mobile across the Phoenix metro. Call for an estimate.

When a modern diesel throws an emissions fault, the truck fights you before it strands you. First it nags, then it starts a countdown, then it drops to 5 mph limp mode in the worst spot possible, usually the middle of a Phoenix summer. Owner Jonathan has spent 10+ years on these systems and got known around the Valley for the Ford 6.7 Power Stroke specifically, so we know the difference between a system that needs cleaning and a sensor that is lying to your truck.
We work on the DPF, the DEF and SCR side, and the EGR cooler. We diagnose the root cause, then we clean, repair, or replace with OEM or OEM-improved parts so the fix actually holds. Bring it to the shop or we come to you, in shop or mobile across the Phoenix metro.
Fix the DEF and SCR system for real
An Exhaust Fluid System Fault message, a DEF quality warning, a derate countdown, white crystal buildup at the injector, or burning through DEF too fast all point to the reductant side. We pull codes like P20BA, P20B9, P204F, P207F, and P20EE and trace them to the actual failure. The reductant heater is the most common culprit, followed by a pump that will not build pressure and a clogged DEF injector nozzle. We repair or replace the failed part, not just the warning light.
Stop constant regens and clean the DPF
If your truck is running a regen every 100 to 150 miles instead of the normal 300 to 800, throwing roaring fans at idle, dropping economy, or showing Cleaning Exhaust Filter, Exhaust Filter Full, or Drive to Clean, something upstream is wrong. A common one we catch is a clogged tube or port to the exhaust gas pressure Delta-P sensor sending a false high reading and triggering constant regen. We clear that, perform DPF cleaning, and run a forced or commanded regen so the system resets clean.
Diagnose and replace a failing EGR cooler
White smoke at startup, coolant loss with no puddle on the ground, a degas bottle that keeps puking, and poor economy usually trace to the EGR cooler. On these engines the secondary valve-cover-mounted cooler fails first, and we see codes P0401 and P0402. We replace it with OEM or OEM-improved parts. When a truck keeps eating coolers, that repeat failure can point to a cracked head on 2011 to 2012 trucks, and we tell you straight if that is what we find.
Protect the engine from oil dilution
Excessive regen does not just cost fuel, it washes raw fuel past the rings and dilutes your engine oil. We catch the constant-regen root cause before that damage compounds, then verify the fix on a real drive cycle so you are not back next month.
